Born in 1961, hailing from Chicagoland, Andre A. Marnez comes from a musical background of eleven siblings that played instruments including his father, Jacob Martinez who was an avid trumpet player. Andre is deep rooted in the Motown sound and incorporates his Latin heritage into his works. Andre met Michael Jackson at a young age and played in shows with other key Motown artists. At the age of 8, Andre was already playing the organ with family band, "The Impossibles". This got some attention from legendary label Chess Records. Andre and his family competed in talent shows and secured features in local newspapers. As Andre grew, he came into his own and developed musical skills on bass, percussion, and rhythm guitar. Some of Andre's influences include; The Eagles, Prince, Aerosmith, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Stanley Clark. Exclusively being signed to Boundless Growth Records, Andre now helps produce for local Chicago artists collaborating with his son Justin D. Marnez. Andre is currently working on projects with production company NASM. Andre will continue bring his extensive musical background to the forefront of Boundless Growth Records and add an old school element, making the team that much stronger.
